Pakua Tea Garden

Pakua Tea Garden is located in the mountains of Da’an Village, Zhushan Township, Nantou County. The specific location is called Ruan An, so it is also called Ruan An Tea Plantation. The rugged terrain is a hügelland. The tea trees radiate outward from a small point from the top in concentric circle like conical hats. Thus, it is also called “Conical Hat Tea Plantation.”

Differing from a regular tea plantation with horizontally layered tea trees, Pakua Tea Garden is especially unique. Particularly during the tea harvest times in spring and autumn, tea pluckers picking tea with their heads bent low is not only a common scene of a TV commercial, but also the most beautiful scene through the lens of photograph lovers.



The Ruan An region in Zhushan, Nantou is an important site for growing high-mountain tea in Zhushan. The tea plantations here are widely spread. Vast areas of tea plantations, together with the endless mountains in the surroundings, form a picturesque scene that is imbued with tea aroma in the Ruan An region.
The beautiful scenery is breathtaking and one of the most popular attractions in Zhushan.
