Once the bell was rung and a sincere prayer was said, all the wishes would come true.
Many tribal warriors teamed up to find the bell. However, since there were a lot of poisonous snakes and dangerous beasts, many failed.
Back then, a warrior from Zhushan tribe went to the mountains alone to look for the bell of happiness in the hope of saving his bedridden wife. He spent three days to no avail. Just as he finished all the food and used up all his strength, the bell hidden in the bamboo forest emanated a subtle ray of golden light. He followed the light and saw the resplendent bell. He then prayed earnestly and rang the bell. In the end, his wife got better because of his love and sincerity.
To commemorate the warrior’s love for his wife, Le Midi Hotel built a happiness bell based on his story, hoping that guests coming to Le Midi can convey their love and dreams through the ringing of the bell.
